We strongly recommend purchasing our pre-setup and test Windows PC by contacting our sales or support team. This will guarantee there are not issues caused by hardware or software.
The software will not work on Mac or Linux machine unless running a Windows OS on Parallels.
FabMo (coming out 2018-2019) will be browser based and thus will work on any OS.
The PC setup can be daunting to many users, and you may need an IT professional to help you, but to succeed with the shopbot and have it work as smoothly as possible, the control computer must be set up accordingly.
If you are in an educational setting you need your IT dept to provide you a standalone workstation that is not managed by group policy or on the network. It must be a clean installed standalone workstation.
