USPS
Nutcracker Christmas Stamps
Glenn
A. Crider of TRC Designs, Inc. designed and produced the
nutcrackers for the 2008 Christmas stamps issued by the US
Postal Service. He writes, "I'm the Virginia guy who makes
nutcrackers... I purchased a bench top a few years ago and
have grown to love and depend on my shopbot...Of particular
note is the King's crown that would have been otherwise
impossible without my shopbot... Thanks again for producing
an awesome machine!"

Glen Kadelbach of Innovative Foam writes on the Vectric
Forum: "Timing is everything. I received my Aspire software
on Saturday November 1st. Friday November 7th The Department
of Defense contacted me and needed a sign by November
17th...Thanks to Aspire I was able to do this project. The
eagle and olive branches are the two parts I drew up in
Aspire and cut with our Shopbot. The eagle took 2 hours and
the branch also took about 2 hours. The rest of the parts
were cut on our cnc hotwire machine.

And on the TalkShopBot Forum, Mike posts
"Here's a sample of the first thing I designed in Aspire the
day after it hit my mailbox. I cut it out of cedar (that's
all I could find in the shop in a hurry) and it was also the
first thing I ran on my brand-new 48" Buddy. I can't believe
how easy Aspire is to use!'

Leasing
and Financing
We are frequently asked if we offer
financing or leasing options. ShopBot itself does not,
however, we have worked with lease-to-own companies at the
request of our customers. A list of these companies is
available on our website at http://www.shopbottools.com/leasing.htm.
Note that ShopBot gets no fees or paybacks from the leasing
companies. Despite what the news says, these companies tell
us that they do have money available. If you are interested,
contact the leasing company directly.
