Output from eCabinet Systems to your ShopBot
Just announced April 9 - In an
effort to expand the general use of CNC by cabinet
builders and furniture manufacturers and to broaden
the concept of distributed production across the
eCabinet system, Thermwood has taken the unusual and
exciting step of making eCabinet production possible
on ShopBot CNCs. eCabinets itself is free to
professional woodworking shops. To be able to cut
eCabinet projects, a ShopBot owner will need to
purchase the eCabinet/ShopBot Link from Thermwood

User Tip
Two ways to create a dished out
area without 3D software:
1. Use the Extruder Tool [TE] in the control
software. First make a line drawing of the profile
of the shape you want to dish using PartWorks. Then
bring it into the Extruder Tool. You can make a
round or oval dish this way, and will have great
control over the shape.
> Read about the extruder in ShopBot Labs at
http://www.shopbottools.com/LabFiles/extrupdt.htm
2. S_DishDome.sbp will make a dish or a dome
shape.Specify the parameters at the top of the file
for things like radius, depth, and stepover of the
dish/dome. To make it an oval shape, proportion in X
or Y. To make it flatter, adjust the size relative
to the radius. To make it dish shaped, tweak it
off-center. We'll put this one in the sample files
in future software releases. You can download this
